Want To Volunteer at Bonny Slope Elementary?

It’s simple!  Here’s what you do:

Step One: Take a look at the Volunteer Handbook for descriptions and information on all of the ways you can get involved, including individual classroom support.  Grandparents, neighbors and community members are welcome to volunteer, too!

Step Two:  Sign Up Here Enter your name and e-mail address and indicate that you are with Bonny Slope Elementary. Shortly after you’ve registered, you’ll receive an e-mail that authorizes you access to the Bonny Slope volunteer section.  Once you’ve received your e-mail, you can sign up for any committee or classroom volunteer opportunity.

Step Three: Fill out the quick Background Check online, now required by the Beaverton School District.

It’s that easy!  Your child’s classroom coordinator/committee lead will contact you with additional information.

Even if you registered last year, please log on to update your information and choose which classrooms/committee(s) you would like to help with.  Information does not automatically carry over from previous years.  Last year’s background checks are still valid.

Now there is an even easier way to update your volunteer profile and select the way you’d like to be involved at Bonny Slope. If you are already in our volunteer database, go to http://www.helpcounter.net/volunteer. Here you can choose how you would like to contribute to your child’s education: work in his/her classroom, join the Community Outreach Team, help with an after-school program like Chess Club or select one of the many other options.
