Did you miss Volunteer Appreciation last Friday?
On Friday, May 1st, the students and staff of Bonny Slope Elementary hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Assembly. The gymnasium was packed with parents and local community volunteers who have made Bonny Slope’s first year an amazing experience for everyone. In case you missed the assembly, we’ve captured a few video shorts for you to enjoy online.
Our principal, Kim Haskins and a student lead a poetic volunteer dedication.
For those of you who do or don’t know our wonderful Music Teacher, Clare Bourquein, you won’t want to miss watching this one! At the beginning of the year, during Bonny Slope’s Dedication Ceremony, Clare, along with the students of Bonny Slope performed this music compliation for the first time with a room packed full of parents and local community members. Once again, the power of this song is reflected with this photo montage dedicated to our volunteers accompanied by Clare’s music and reflections from students about our volunteer’s contributions this year.
Last but not least, if you haven’t had a chance to meet this year’s BSCO Board Members, Local School Committee Members and Site Council Members, you can see their recognition here.
