BSMArt Art Fair – Thursday, Feb 2nd, 6:00-8:30pm

Calling all Bonny Slope Students: dip your paintbrushes, sharpen your drawing pencils,grab your knitting needles, plan your Lego creations, dig into your clay! Our annual art festival, BSMArt (Bonny Slope Makes Art), is coming. You have at least two opportunities to show off your projects. Each class will display student work, AND kids can display artwork that they’ve done at home in the last year.  Parents – if you have a child who will attend Bonny Slope’s kindergarten next year, they are also welcome to share their creative wares.

Remember,“art” can be anything a kid creates. Here are just a FEW examples: a bag you sewed, a latch hook rug you completed, a woodworking project you worked on, a musical piece you wrote, a scarf you knitted or crocheted, drawings or paintings you’ve made, creatures made of Sculpey…the only limit is your imagination!!  The night of the BSMArt event, students and family members can jump into all sortsof fun. Creating Shrinky Dinks and making duct tape wallets are just some of what’s in store on February 2nd! Mark your calendar and get ready to have some creative fun!

Winter After School Programs Begin January 9, 2012

Parents please remember:

1. Children must be preregistered in order to attend the first session.
2. Remind children of their enrichment class each week & notify the teacher about the class. (A note in the lunchbox or backpack is helpful)
3. Children must be picked up on time from the parent pick-up area in front of the school. (If not attending Student Stop or walking home)
